A second rant from Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic might be coming after he sees the Last Two Minute report from his team’s 132-131 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Calif.
Rajakovic went viral on social media Tuesday after he called out the officiating for allegedly favoring the Lakers (video here).
The “Last Two Minute” report detailing potential missed calls from the game came out the following day. But instead of vindicating Rajakovic’s complaints, the report stated that two more fouls should have been called on the Raptors.
The first error spotlighted by the report indicated that Raptors forward Scottie Barnes, who was at the center of Rajakovic’s rant, should have been called for an offensive foul after charging into Austin Reaves at the 1:33 mark.
The second incorrect call was over a foul on Lakers big man Anthony Davis at the 1:18 mark. The report stated RJ Barrett initiated the contact and that Davis should not have been called for a foul.
The Lakers took 36 free throws compared to the Raptors’ 13. The Raptors were also called for 26 total fouls compared to the Lakers’ 16, though a few of the Raptors’ fouls were intentionally committed to stop the clock in the final minute.
