The Kansas City Chiefs, led by their star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes are currently preparing to take on the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game . Ahead of the decisive game, Mahomes’ dad Patrick Mahomes Sr. is making headlines for his comments about Patrick’s wife Brittany Mahomes, and Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend Taylor Swift .
During a recent interview with WFAN Sports Radio’s Evan & Tiki show on Thursday, Mahomes Sr. revealed that he will be cheering his son and the Kansas City-based football team during their AFC championship game from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore this Sunday. However, when he was asked whether he would be sitting alongside Taylor Swift and their crew in the suite, Mahomes Sr. had a blunt response.

The former MLB pitcher might not have had any ill intentions while making that comment since he praised Taylor Swift before answering that question. Mahomes Sr. shared a story of how he met Swift for the first time and labeled her as a ‘very down-to-earth person.’

Furthermore, he also revealed that he was not in the suite with Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes, and Jason Kelce during the Chiefs’ divisional round game against the Buffalo Bills. Many on social media mistook someone else for him in the suite. Mahomes Sr. revealed he was actually sitting two suites down at the Highmark Stadium.

The romance between the Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and the 12-time Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift is often talked about in the media and among the fans. But what about the Chiefs players inside the locker room?
During a recent interview on CBS Sports Radio’s Zach Gelb Show, the Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill revealed how he and his teammates poke fun at Kelce over his ‘Love Story’ with Swift.

The Chiefs LB said that they don’t really talk about Kelce-Swift’s relationship too much in the locker room. But they would ‘poke fun’ at Kelce when DJ plays Swift’s songs during their practice sessions.
